These kind words have been written about  Mount Everest Math Puzzles.
Hello Mrs. Fleischer,
I just wanted to tell you that these math puzzles are just wonderful ....  I think you should start
working on another puzzle website.!

Yasin B., grade 6

I found the research involved in completing the puzzles to be interesting, as well as the challenging maths sums.  I also enjoyed the incorporation of the real Mount Everest.

Sherab Stephanie.

Paula Fleischer has put together a very interesting
project.  I like the way she has integrated information about Mount Everest and her climbers.  She let's us climb, as well, while we try to solve the puzzles.

Paula (known as Sherpani Paula to us climbers) was kind enough to communicate with me on a couple of occassions during my visits to her site.  She has quite effectively used email technology by requiring us to contact her for passwords which allow us to assend further up the
tremendous mountain.  Her emails give the whole thing a
very personal touch which I'm sure visitors truly appreciate.  It's one thing to establish a "silent" site, and quite another to put one together where you
are obligated to communicate with your visitors.  She's
a real trooper and I can understand why her site is
award-winning.

We liked the pictures, the headings, choosing a climber name, earning a password, the challenge. We really liked it. It was set up so we could enter our answers easily.

Actually, one of the things I enjoyed most was the suspense, or cliff-hanging (excuse the pun) of submitting your answer and then having to wait for confirmation.  Good format!

I thought your web site was wonderful.  I told my advanced students about
your site and those that accessed the site found it fun and challenging.
Thank you for all your hard work.

WOW!  I am so happy!  This was an awesome climb!  I thought this would
just be some stupid math project, but instead, with all the competition
from my class, it turned out to be an awesome project.  If you are going to post this like you said, then I'd like to add:  Good luck to all
the other TLS classmates!  Keep up the good work!

Thank you,
Yangchen Daniel
